How much does charging with eCarUp cost?

We guarantee full transparency: Since each station owner sets their own tariff (price per kWh or time), prices vary. However, in the eCarUp app, you can always see the current costs of a station before you start charging. There are no hidden fees.

Is there a basic fee or a subscription?

No, we don't like subscription traps. Using eCarUp is completely free for drivers. Following the "pay-per-use" principle, you only pay for the power and time you actually use.

How can I pay for the charging session?

The choice is yours: In the app, we accept all major credit and debit cards (e.g., Visa, Mastercard). For spontaneous charging without registration, simply scan the QR code at the station. Here you also have the option to use Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Do I get a receipt for expense claims?

Yes, automatically. After every completed charging session, we will send you a payment receipt via email. Additionally, you will find a clear overview of all your past charging sessions in the app history.

What should I do if a charging station is not working?

Since eCarUp provides the software platform but the stations belong to local partners, the on-site operator is your fastest point of contact. You can usually find their contact number directly on the station's housing or in the location details in the app.
