With the new update, you no longer need to select a time when starting a charging session.
Important: Charging remains active for 48 hours until the charging station or the car stops charging. Of course, you can also stop charging manually at any time using the app or by unplugging the charging cable.
“Filter” Partner Stations / End of EMP Functionality:
We discontinued the EMP feature in the " eCarUp " app as of November 30, 2023.
Since then, drivers have no longer been able to unlock charging stations from partner networks via the eCarUp app; only charging points operated through the eCarUp platform are now available.
eCarUp With this change, the focus is on providing an efficient solution for station management and billing. The CPO functionality for roaming included in " eCarUp " Premium remains fully available and unchanged.
eCarUp Charging stations can still be shared with other partner networks via Hubject; these charging points will then continue to be displayed by other charging providers as usual and without interruption, and can also be activated and billed through the partner networks.
Station Operator Information:
The app now displays information about the charging station operator or owner at each charging station. This allows drivers to find help more quickly at the right location in the event of local issues at the charging station.
