How much does it cost to charge with eCarUp?

We guarantee full transparency: Since each charging station owner sets their own rates (price per kWh or time), prices vary. However, in the eCarUp app, you’ll always see the current cost of a station before you start charging. There are no hidden fees.

Is there a basic fee or a subscription?

No, we don't like subscription traps. Using eCarUp is completely free for drivers. Based on the "pay-per-use" principle, you only pay for the electricity and time you actually use.

How can I pay for the charging session?

The choice is yours: In the app, we accept all major credit and debit cards (e.g., Visa, Mastercard). To charge your vehicle on the fly without registering, simply scan the QR code at the station. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also available there.

Will I receive a receipt for my expense report?

Yes, automatically. After each completed charge, we'll send you a payment receipt via email. You can also find a clear overview of all your past charges in the app's history.

What should you do if a charging station isn't working?

Since eCarUp provides the software platform, but the stations are owned by local partners, the local operator is your quickest point of contact. You can usually find their contact number right on the station’s housing or in the location details in the app.
