Do I still have to read the tenants' electricity consumption manually?
No. The charging stations automatically send the consumption data to the eCarUp cloud after every charging session. Billing is digital and in real time; you will never have to read meters in the underground garage again.
What happens when there is a change of tenant in the underground garage?
You can block the old tenant in the web portal with one click and invite the new one to the group via email. There is no need to hand over keys or physical charging cards. Access rights remain traceable at all times, even across multiple properties.
How do I determine the electricity price for my tenants?
You set your price per kilowatt-hour and an optional time-based fee in the web portal. We recommend a tariff that covers the electricity costs and contributes to the amortization of the charging infrastructure. The tariff can be adjusted per station or per group.
Do the charging stations in the underground garage need an internet connection?
Yes. The charging points must be online so they can send billing data and be maintained remotely. Depending on local conditions, the connection is made via Wi-Fi, a LAN cable, or a SIM card in the station.
When and how do I receive the revenue from my charging stations?
The charging costs are charged to your tenants after each charging session using the payment method saved in the app. The money accumulates as a balance in your eCarUp account and can be paid out to your bank account (IBAN) with one click in the web portal.
