Yes. For the stations to reliably send billing data to our system and allow you to maintain them remotely, the charging points must be online. Depending on the local setup in your underground garage, connectivity is easily established via Wi-Fi, an installed LAN cable, or a cellular connection using a SIM card directly inside the charging station.
When and how do I receive the revenue from my charging stations?
The accrued charging costs are automatically charged to your tenants after every single session using the payment method saved in their app (e.g., credit card). This money accumulates as a balance in your eCarUp account and can be paid out to your registered Swiss IBAN at any time with a single click in the web portal.
