Do I still have to read the tenants' electricity usage manually?

No. The charging stations automatically send the usage data to the eCarUp cloud after every charging session. Billing is digital and in real time; you'll never have to read meters in the underground garage again.

What happens when there is a change of tenant in the underground garage?

You can block the old tenant in the web portal with a single click and invite the new one to the group via email. There is no need to hand over keys or physical charging cards. Access rights remain traceable at all times, even across multiple properties.

How do I determine the electricity rate for my tenants?

You set your price per kilowatt-hour and an optional time-based fee in the web portal. We recommend a rate that covers the cost of electricity and helps pay off the charging infrastructure. The rate can be adjusted for each station or for each group.

Do the charging stations in the underground garage require an internet connection?

Yes. The charging stations must be connected to the internet so they can send billing data and be maintained remotely. Depending on local conditions, the connection is established via Wi-Fi, a LAN cable, or a SIM card in the station.

When and how do I receive the revenue from my charging stations?

Charging costs are billed to your tenants after each charging session using the payment method saved in the app. The funds accumulate as a balance in your eCarUp account and can be transferred to your bank account (IBAN) with a single click in the web portal.
