Can I mix different applications at a single station?
Yes, absolutely. That is one of the greatest strengths of eCarUp. For example, you can reserve stations exclusively for employees during the day (restricted) and open them up to the public in the evenings or on weekends while charging a different price. You simply control everything via schedules and user groups in the web portal.
I am unsure which solution suits me. What should I do?
Simply start small. Since eCarUp is fully scalable, you can start today with a private wallbox for your employees and add public features (such as roaming) or additional locations at any time later. You don’t have to commit for the next 10 years today. If you have any questions, our support team will be happy to help.
Does eCarUp also handle the planning and installation on site?
No. eCarUp is a pure software provider and exclusively supplies the digital platform. Site analysis, planning, hardware procurement, and the physical installation of the charging stations are handled exclusively by a certified eCarUp partner. This way, you get everything from a single source, professionally executed and backed by proven software.
Which charging stations are compatible with eCarUp?
Thanks to the open OCPP standard, we are compatible with 95% of all stations. Whether Easee, Zaptec, smart-me Pico, ABB, KEBA, or Alpitronic, you can integrate almost any modern wallbox into our system without having to buy new hardware.
How are charging costs billed and when do I receive my money?
Costs are automatically charged to the user’s stored payment method after each charging session and accumulate as a balance in your eCarUp account. You can pay out this balance to your IBAN with just one click in the web portal at any time. eCarUp only retains the transaction fee, so you don’t have to worry about anything.
